My Artist Statement
I've never called myself an artist. I don't feel like I think that way. I've always thought that I was more of a scientist or an engineer. I look at things in a very technical aspect. Always considering every possible angle before being able to see results. If one thing doesn't doesn't work, I'll build on it and work on it, until it becomes what I want. When I think about it though, Engineers and Scientists are very creative. They're the master of their own craft. They find new ways to think, new ways to build. Always coming up with a solution to a problem. Its beautiful what their inventions and creations can accomplish. That in itself is kind of art to me. It invokes feelings in me. The feeling of progress and awe. Knowing that these creations can have massive effects on the world. It inspires me. I hope someday even though I'm no engineer nor scientist, that I can have the same effect on others. Even if it's just those around me. I wish to learn a lot more and improve on my methods of production. To one day find my own style and taste in art. To find the art in science. I'll continue to observe and look at things in new ways to find ways to convey something that might not have been too obvious. I look forward to learning a lot more and applying that to life.
